I do believe I have gone and lost my mind by deciding to move cross country. It is not for the faint of heart, that is for sure. I’m writing up lists deciding what I can sell or store to leave behind in Maine. Luckily everything I have is from Ikea and folds down relatively small.
Things to plan for that not many people think of when you move:
(Or at least things I did not think of initially)
- Paying rent for new apartment, having money before you get there.
- Planning where you will be staying a long the way.
- Forwarding your mail.
- What happens if your car breaks down along the way?
- What happens if you go car crazy along the way?
- What is the most effective way to pack a tiny trailer since your car can’t tow much?
- What will Baby Bear do the whole car ride?
I still have wipes for sale, I also have wet bags which are great for not just cloth diapers! They can be used for beach bags, dirty clothes, Items that might spill in your bag, etc!
If you have any suggestions for things I should sew and sell in my shop I would love to hear it.
Anything you buy will fund our drive out west! Please help us out!

Wow, that’s a lot to think about. When are you going to try to make the move?

I would like to move end of August, right after BlogHer! But we will see a cross country move will be tricky so it might be mid September!
