Spring has sprung,
or sure as hell is trying to!
I have a lot of miles to catch up on, hopefully I can chip away at my goal for this year. It seems like quite the lofty goal. I would like to get my bike fixed up since I can do easily 20 miles in a couple hours.
What are your work out plans for this year?
As summer finally rolls around Baby Bear and I will be going for walks, venturing to the beach, finding some mountains to hike and taking ferry rides out to Islands near Portland.
The more active I am the more energy I will have to burn more calories and get back in shape. I am not going to set rigid goals for myself because I just end up failing. I will make a conscious effort to change my habits and work towards a healthier future. I want to show my son that a healthy lifestyle is easy and fun to do.
Things I plan on slowly changing, remember habits take 30 days to really take hold.
-Walk every day, even if it is just around the block.
-Cut back on my sugar intake.
-Eat 4-5 small meals a day instead of one large meal.
-Don’t let the number on the scale bother me.
-Smile more.
