It is not secret that I need to loose weight and get my body back. I briefly tried an app on my phone but it really only reminded me when I should be eating and there were not enough calories for me to be happy with. I’ve been reading a book that really explains how to maximize the potential your metabolism has my having it function properly. This book stresses the importance of eating whole foods. I hope eating whole foods such as veggies, fruit, lean meats, beans and nuts will help my body recover from the nonsense that is going on.
The book has a lot of great suggestions for clearing your body from toxins and sugar. Every time I exercise I struggle with my legs itching and turning a nice shade of red. If only it turned into a nice tan after and not scratch marks because I made the mistake of itching my legs.
So what meals am I going to prepare? Some things I am really excited about are stews, fresh veggies with hummus and lots of other snacks. Of course I will try and find ways to bake without sugar because I would like something sweet. My favorite mustard greens and bacon, now I am going to make more omlette’s for W and I. They are a great way to fill you up in the morning. If only I was good at making omlette’s in the first place! These are all very simple choices that to me when shoppping wisely can cost less than pre packaged bulk processed food. I am excited to make the switch. Every day you should be eating a color of the rainbow. This sounds rather ridiculous but if you think about it this insures that you eat all your fruits and vegetables.

I had a crazy goal of walking 500 miles this year, lets just say I have not broke 50 miles yet. I can use all the excuses in the book but when it comes down to it I just didn’t want to. I hate the cold and I hate gyms. Also winter and I do not mix so I avoid going out side.
So my new goal is to start small with 30 mins to an hour of walking roughly four or five times a week.
all in all my goal for right now is to implement small changes. With the new schedule and the new work out plan I hope I can do a 180 with my mood and life style. I hope to start going to a play group on Thursday’s as well to get Wyatt some more social skills. He is already a huge flirt though so I don’t foresee many problems with making friends. We frequently see babies at the grocery store and he will turn the charm up to 11 trying to make friends with every one.
